Part 2: Evangelism, Session #5: "The Sinner's Prayer - Why It Is Dangerous"

During this session we first reviewed what was covered in the previous session. The dangerous words, phrases and methods of modern Christianity which usually all lead to one typical way of pronouncing someone "into the kingdom" if you "say this prayer with me." The dangerous words and phrases are as follows:

• Accept Jesus into your heart...
• Invitation (Jesus invites you to be saved...)
• Backslider (That person is just a backslider, they'll come around...)
• You have a God shaped hole in your heart...

Next Greg shared a video on "How to make your child a false convert." This is a very serious issue and it is the common method used today:

With all that said, now Greg presents one of the core ideas behind these false methods of evangelizing, which is Humanism. The definition of Humanism, as presented, is "The end of all being is the happiness of man - the reason for existence is man's happiness." Next, Paris Reidhead explains in this video what has happened in the Church and how Humanism has infiltrated it (during class we only watched 12:37-23:15 of the video):
