2015 Extras II: Expect Rejection & Failure!

I want to share with you a sermon that is absolutely vital for all of us to hear. When we share the Gospel we will be rejected and we will screw up - and that should be expected! We should never approach evangelism thinking it will magically go well, or SHOULD magically go well every time - we are NOT promised that! Instead, we should expect to get rejected and/or mess up in our dialog, especially when we are only learning and do not do it regularly (yet... hopefully you are working on that!).

Here is the sermon, it's about an hour long. You will want to listen all the way through: http://focalpointministries.org/product/your-role-in-the-harvest-part-3/

If you'd like to start from the beginning in this series, I highly recommend it. In fact, the second most important one which takes on the topic of feeling overwhelmed or under-prepared in any situation where you feel compelled to witness, checkout the second entry in this series: http://focalpointministries.org/product/your-role-in-the-harvest-part-2/

Also, there is a unique opportunity coming May 14th, 2015 at the Civic Center - Lee Strobel, author of Case for Christ, Case for a Creator, and Case for Faith - will be speaking at 6PM-9PM in the evening, thanks to John Witherspoon College. You can buy the $10 tickets here: http://events.r20.constantcontact.com/register/event?oeidk=a07eakv484oa139cfdd&llr=bmgt9yjab

2015 Evangelism Course Extras

Below are extra videos, audios and text that will build upon what we went over in the evangelism courses we went through early this year. Greg and I ask that if you find time, to consider listening/watching/reading through the material below because it will help round out your understanding of these very important topics. As Paul Washer has said - the gospel is the most important truth in scripture, all other truths fall in the shadow of the gospel.

The Fear of God: A reverential fear... or is it more than that?
